When patrons use Surpass Safari or Surpass Library Trek to request a hold on a title that is currently available in the library, a specific copy of that title is placed on hold for the patron. The new Safari Holds report lists those holds so the library staff can pull those items from the shelves to be set aside for the patrons who reserved them.
What's more, Surpass Central will remind you when it starts up if patrons have placed holds using Safari or Library Trek since you've last looked at the list. It then gives you an option to view and optionally print the list.
Note: This feature requires Safari 7.30 or higher. Holds placed in older versions of Safari (or Library Trek connected to older versions of Safari Web Edition) will not appear on this report.
