Books in Series

Do your patrons often ask which book is next in the series they are reading? Now they can find out directly in Safari. A new “Series” tab on the item details screen will show each book in the series, in order, along with a cover image (when available).

This new element displays cover art for DVDs, Blu-ray discs, and CDs, and includes track listings for CDs.

These new elements are offered in the new Safari Selections Level 2. The Level 2 subscription contains these two new elements along with all the great content from Level 1: book jacket cover images, summaries/annotations, author notes, tablet of contents, fiction profiles, biography profiles, chapter excerpts, and professional reviews.

Free Until May 31

All Surpass Safari 6.40 users will receive Safari Selections Level 2 content for free until May 31! Simply upgrade to Surpass 6.40, which is also free to Surpass Support subscribers.

If you choose to subscribe, Safari Selections Level 2 costs $285 per year for K12 libraries, just $60 more than the Level 1 subscription. The price varies for non-K12 libraries, so please contact Sales for details.

How to Subscribe

Contact Surpass Sales and we’ll issue a prorated invoice to cover the cost of the subscription (or additional cost to your current Level 1 subscription) to add the service through your regular annual renewal date.
